In one of his rare departures from convention, Sean Connery’s 007 character breaks the ‘no brown in town’ rule for a meeting with M at his London office, in a scene from the 1965 James Bond movie, ‘Thunderball’. The three-piece mohair ensemble includes a single breasted vest with a square hem. It is an unusual style that was popular in the period. Connery wears the same design in grey flannel during the opening scene of the film.
